The Bespoke Kitchen Brief
The Fitzgerald family had lived in their Manchester home for around 20 years and they felt it was time for a for a complete change. Mrs Fitzgerald loves to party with friends. With the lockdown and the need to spend more time in our homes it was more important than ever to have the room and environment to achieve this.
I designed a kitchen, dining and entertaining area for the family to really give them that wow factor with a white and sparkle theme. Lighting was also a really important requirement.
As with all good family spaces the Fitzgeralds wanted to maximise available room for a family focused bespoke Kitchen where everybody could relax and entertain.
They wanted a designer luxury bespoke kitchen; something unique and visually stunning. All with the best materials and highest quality kitchen appliances.
This project involved a lot of remodeling. We removed a wall the patio doors and a window and installed 2 sets of Bi-fold doors. We also blocked up another wall.
We fitted full diffused colour changing lights around the top of the units, under the wall units, inside the rails, and under the worktop area.
The kitchen consisted of White Gloss doors with White Quartz floor tiles. Calacatta Quartz Worktops with upstands and down stands. We also used Airslate Siver Granite as a feature on the Breakfast bar return.
Key Bespoke Design feature
We created a bespoke glass lit drinks area with bonded glass shelves and Led lighting concealed within the shelves. This really added to the wow factor she was after.
Of course, we also added all the essentials you’d expect in a bespoke designer kitchen like a boiling tap, self-cleaning ovens, free induction hob, and integrated bins.
Individual Design Challenge
Mrs Fitgerald plays the piano and ordered a new Baby Grand Piano so as a special bespoke finishing touch our MD Mike made a ‘treble clef’ shelf (you can read more about that HERE). I think it fair to say that she just fell in love with it and it added a truly bespoke, must have, feature!
Our ability to Design the perfect kitchen to fit the space provided is what makes us different; we really do make Bespoke Kitchens with a wow factor.
Attention to detail is what I strive for in every Design. We are also blessed by an incredibly gifted team for all stages of our projects from the Design, to the Workshop lads (who make it possible), to our Installer who made it fit. It is very satisfying when we see a project really go from concept (on CAD) to reality for the customer.
We really enjoy helping our customers make the right choices and we love making the whole process enjoyable and exciting for them by managing it from beginning to end.
In this case I know the family are delighted and we have met that objective. Even better we have exceeded their hopes and dreams for their new bespoke kitchen family and social space in their Manchester home.
The greatest satisfaction for me is delivering personal service and beautiful spaces in our customer’s homes that will be used for years to come.
